Christian McCaffrey Fantasy Football owners understand that when he’s healthy, he’s one of the best.

The problem is that he’s not always that healthy. And this week he popped up on an injury report for the first time this season before the San Francisco 49ers take on the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon.

Fantasy Owners Should Be Prepared: Its completely possible that McCaffrey could play. It’s also completely possible he could be a game time scratch. You should monitor his status up until kickoff.

If McCaffrey can’t play: try and pick up Brian Robinson, who could pick up some Snaps in his absence. Isaac Guerendo could also see more action.

But you should also evaluate your own bench for better options. And if you’re familiar with McCaffrey’s injury history, you understand that he’s always a shaky option. You need some depth as an insurance policy to surround him.
