Fantasy Football: Owners Had Questions About These Players On Week One
Fantasy Football social media went into overdrive for the first time this season with team owners heading to the web to seek advice about certain players.
Here are the players that pinged the most in questions about week one games.
Courtland Sutton: The Denver wR plays the Tennessee Titans at home. Fan expectations of second year QB Bo Nix will be high and Sutton could benefit if it works out.
My Take: Not ideal because the Titans actually had the second ranked defense against in the league last year, including second against the pass. But he’s still where Nix will look first.
Tetairoa McMillan: will have a role to fill as Bryce Young tries to salvage his young career in a trainwreck of a Panthers organization against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
My Take: It’s an exciting play because the Jaguars defense is so bad. But keep an eye on the in Duval, where rain could be a factor.
Jayden Waddle: Will be poised for a fast start against Indianapolis indoors.
My Take: He’s a good play because we don’t know how limited Tyreek Hill will be and the Colts have a tough time stopping the pass. I like Tua in this game too.
Ricky Pearsall: will be expected to step up against the Seahawks with Aiyuk hurt.
My take: If there is no one else you could do worse than Pearsall. Christian McCaffrey is expected to play, but Brock Purdy will still need to throw the ball down field at some point.
Garret Wilson: continues to be the constant in New York with yet another new quarterback in Justin Fields.
My take: He is a good start because the person who threw him the ball last year, Aaron Rodgers, will try to get the Steelers going early. Aaron Glenn should be enouraging Fields to feed him.
