Fantasy Football: Picking Up And Stashing Jaxson Dart Works If You Have Roster Space
New York Giants fans were calling for rookie Jaxson Dart in the third quarter of the first game of the season on Sunday, after Russell Wilson failed to get the offense going in the team’s 21-6 loss to the Washington Commanders.
If you have the roster space, then picking up Dart for either deployment later in the season or as trade bait in a deep league would be a low risk endeavor.
Head Coach Brian Daboll wouldn’t commit to Wilson in week 2: They might be talking about a switch at this very moment.
There are already packages for Dart: News came out that Daboll already had plays in the offense for his exciting young rookie.
Malik Nabers might demand it: One of the best Fantasy WRs in the game was shouting on the sidelines over his targets. The team will try to keep him happy.
This week against the Cowboys might be the softest launch they could find for Dart: The Cowboys played the Eagles tough but the schedule doesn’t get too much easier for the Giants with the Chiefs and Chargers following up before a potential rest game against the Saints.
Bottom Line: If you’ve got a roster space doing nothing, then taking Dart could be a fun side project. Nothing more at this point.
