Fantasy Football: Commanders vs. Packers Game Preview
Week 2 of the NFL season kicks off right here in my backyard, with the Washington Commanders visiting us here in Green Bay to take on the Packers at Lambeau Field.
Last week: The Commanders defeated the Giants. The Packers beat the Lions.
Washington Commanders to watch:
Jacoby Croskey-Merritt: Had 10 carries for 82 yards and a touchdown in week one. Whether he gets that against Micah Parsons at Lambeau remains to be seen.
Austin Ekeler: Was expected to be a bigger part of the Commanders running game but he’s been listed on the injury report early this week. If he can’t go, then JCM is the featured back.
Deebo Samuel: Is well known for his ability to create explosive plays. While Terry McLaurin is the featured receiver, his potential can’t be ignored.
Green Bay Packers:
Jordan Love: Is here because he threw the ball to ten different players on Sunday. Anybody in this receiving corp can make a difference at any time.
Josh Jacobs: Got into the end zone on Sunday. He’s been a workhorse since he’s arrived to Northeast Wisconsin. That won’t change.
Micah Parsons: A defensive player here, because he could give Jayden McDaniels fits, if his line doesn’t stop him.
Weather: Clear and in the 60s. Enjoy it while its here.
Bottom Line: Not the biggest Fantasy Football game of the week by a longshot, but every point counts.
