Dancing With The Stars: Season 34 Week 2 Power Rankings
The season 34 premiere of Dancing With The Stars is in the books, and fans were going nuts on social media last night. We may have been short one judge, but there were plenty of opinions being thrown around over who should win the mirrorball trophy.
Here are your power rankings after week 1!
1. Robert Irwin: Folks were ready to crown Robert and Witney after one performance. Its hard to go coast to coast on top. How will they keep the excitement going?
2. Whitney Leavitt: A lot of people unhappy with her amount of experience. It looked like Mark Ballas and Whitney may have actually been holding back too. The charm offensive has to begin now.
3. Danielle Fishel: She’s going to get the OG vote from longtime TV viewers. She can use that extra time to catch up to the high flyers.
4. Alix Earle: She was stiff but she looked incredible out there. We’ll see where her progression takes her.
5. Elaine Hendrix:Had perfect placement in the order. Fans were still hyped and receptive to what is a pretty neat comeback story. She also exceeded expectations.
6.Jordan Chiles: Going first with two confused and shorthanded judges is never easy. I think Jordan has the support to go further.
7. Scott Hoying: They went angry for the first performance, which despite looking terrific may have been too intense, too fast.
8. Lauren Jauregui: She was fine for week one. She could lose some of that 5H following the more viewers learn about her competition.
9. Hilaria Baldwin: She was solid. I think shoe horning Alec Baldwin into the coverage was more awkward and unintentionally funny than helpful. She can do this herself.
10. Jen Affleck: Her new mom performance is impressive. But she’s not tracking as high as Whitney. ABC needs this “Mormon Wives” following to line up with their DWTS and Bachelornation audiences. A lot of eyeballs.
11. Dylan Efron: Looks like a champion. But needs to loosen up. Another “fixer-upper” for Dani to push into the season. But viewers love watching her partners improve anyways.
12. Corey Feldman: He was okay. Not a lot of ID out there. I was watching him when I was a kid. Has his audience aged out of DWTS and into perpetual primetime cable news?
13. Baron Davis: He was fine. Just flat. And it was a busy night. Viewers weren’t saying anything and that’s the worst thing that can happen on a reality competition show.
14. Andy Richter: He’s trying to charm himself into more time on the show. I don’t know if that’s possible. We still love Andy and Emma though.
