Green Bay Salute To Service Draws Crowds To Support Veterans Housing

The Green Bay community proved once again that it cares about it’s veterans, with a successful 2025 Salute To Service event hosted by Houses Of Honor, to benefit the Veterans First housing village in the region to help our brothers and sisters during the affordable housing crisis.

It was standing room only during the peak times of the event which drew veterans, their families and friends, as well as other pro veterans organizations that tabled during the festivities. The event took place during the Green Bay Packers vs. Arizona Cardinals game, which complimented the hosting Stadium View venue which is a popular destination on gamedays. There was free food and drink, as well as silent raffles, and prizes.

The event took place during what has been a tough year for veterans in the region. The state closed the Green Bay Veterans Housing And Recovery Program due to a budget impasse, forcing veterans to relocate. And the Village Of Ashwaubenon is poised to pass an anti homeless ordinance which will punish any homeless veterans with nowhere to go in the area.

But for the afternoon, veterans and their allies enjoyed a successful event for a great cause.
