Disputes between local television stations and providers are nothing new in 2025, which is why you’re already looking for alternatives to watching WBAY here in Green Bay.

The dispute is between Disney and Google. And you may find this hard to believe but they don’t care if we miss out on Dancing With The Stars, Monday Night Football, and The Golden Bachelor with Mel Owens who doesn’t like women over 60.

But just in case, here is how you can keep watching…

Your Antenna or Tuner: Most of us forget about the “Ol Rabbit Ears” that our folks used. If you have an older TV, you can get an antenna and plug it into the coaxial port and hit “scan”, and all of your over the air channels will work if you’re with in range.

Newer TVs have a tuner built in. You can just hit “scan” on your remote and get the channels that way too.

The WBAY site and App: If you’re a news junkie like me, then you’re going to need the news broadcast. You can get it through the website or in the Apple store (after EBay) as well as other streaming platforms like Roku.

You can “rough it out” and explore: Disputes like these typically don’t last very long. But they always seem to land on nights where we’ve got something important to watch. Take this chance to look at other services, including the free platforms, and you may find that you never really needed the pay service to begin with.
