WWE Giving Tony Hinchcliffe Another Wrestlemania Show Continues To Insult Puerto Rico

WWE customers put up with a lot in 2026.

They deal with “Big Four” Premium Live Events exported to overseas markets, inconveniencing viewers, and stealing millions from American cities that could be benefiting from that economic development.

They continue to fragmentize streaming and raise rates. You can’t watch WWE with a single cable plan anymore. You need multiple services and a cable subscription to enjoy the entire story. Or else you’re always putting together a puzzle.

And then they continue to give people like Tony Hinchcliffe money. He’s been invited back for another Wrestlemania show (story HERE).

You’ll recall Tony Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico a “Floating Island Of Garbage”.

To this day, he has no remorse. The trolls in his fandom continue to celebrate it.

If Tony’s hate were confined to his own universe that would be his business alone, but every time WWE lifts him up, it invites his anti Puerto Rican views into the WWE.

And simply going beyond Tony’s cruel view on Puerto Rico, his presence flies in the face of the world wide brand WWE continues to build. Why does WWE exhalt personalities like this, instead of others that can bring more people “into the tent” instead of kicking them out?

It’s true, there are dozens and dozens of other personalities and comedians that would have been a better choice than Tony Hinchcliffe. WWE could have even leveraged their partnership with ESPN. How about using those actual celebrated broadcasters instead of this hate specialist?

You should resent the WWE for bringing back Tony Hinchcliffe. Because while this time they’re rewarding the bad treatment of Puerto Rico, next time it could be somewhere closer to you.
