Magic: The Gathering has announced that a new Secret Lair will be dropping towards the end of the month, and for fans of the Fallout TV show on Amazon Prime, you should be pretty stoked because “RAD Super drop” includes our favorite characters from the series.

Today, we’re going to be talking about the main protagonist of the TV story, Lucy MacLean. And our unflappable protagonista is ready to give players a lot of tokens.

Let’s read the card…

Golden Rule- Whenever a token enters, you may have a target player other than its controller create a token that is a copy of it, then you draw a card if an opponent created a token this way. Do this only once each turn.

For the Lucy player, this means that an already token rich mono white player can get even more boots on the ground for a wincon.

And you can be a pretty formidable “group hug” presence if you feel like doling out 1/1s for the sake of your own card draw. Once again, this will be a blessing if you’re running mono white, which typically suffers with the size of their hand.

What has also been overlooked so far is how tough Lucy actually is. She’s got a toughness of five, that’s not an easy removal for a lot of players. Once she gets the engines started she’s going to be a problem.

If I get the chance, I’ll be building a Lucy MacLean deck, not only because I’m a big mono white player, but also a fan of the show and the way Ella Purnell plays the character.
