(1/2 🧵) We're aware of reports of Lorwyn Eclipsed prerelease kits containing foil promo cards from an incorrect set. This is not intentional and, if possible, stores should replace these promos with the appropriate ECL promos from other prerelease kits.

As if the release of Lorwyn Eclipsed wasn’t exciting enough, reports on social media are saying that the next release may have already leaked through the highly anticipated pre release events.

Magic: The Gathering Players are reporting finding Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles cards in their Lorwyn Eclipsed purchases.

Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles are supposed to be the next release up for Magic players in another controversial “Universes Beyond” set. Our turtles in a half shell buddies aren’t supposed to get here until March.

Absolutely wild people are finding TMNT promo cards in their Lorwyn Eclipsed pre-release sets. Either a accidental screw up on WoTC's part or intentional to build up hype for that set.

Seeding TMNT into Lorwyn prerelease packs really sucks @wizards_magic. It’s obviously intentional – no way a mistake like this could be made. Just another in a recent litany of decisions that draw attention away from the new Magic multiverse set and focus it on Universes Beyond

It’s only Friday night, and I won’t be at my pre release events until tomorrow to see if the leaks have made it to the local level.

But it doesn’t hurt Lorwyn Eclipsed. If anything the Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles leak will pique interest in another upcoming release if it wants to keep the game’s momentum rolling after some recent successful efforts. Avatar was well received, but Spiderman not so much. It looks like the Universes Beyond roller coaster still has some more excitement for us.
