Chappell Roan Brazil Fiasco Highlights Her Distorted View On Reality
I’ll never understand celebrities who despise being famous.
The latest example is Chappell Roan, who has made it a point to paint herself as a victim whenever she’s not performing. Fame is a curse to Ms. Roan. And her fans, the same ones who pay money to see her in concert, buy her merchandise, and listen to her music are usually to blame.
We have to talk about what happened in Brazil this weekend. A soccer player’s young daughter walked by Ms. Roan while she was having breakfast. A security guard then went after the child and chided the little girl and her mother for approaching Queen Roan while she was eating.
Chappell Roan would later point out that the guard didn’t work for her. And would apologize (story HERE).
While this is good enough for many of her fans, and her management team will likely “Yes Man” their way through this mess, it doesn’t help address the problem that Chappell Roan has had for the last couple of years.
She doesn’t understand how lucky she is. And she doesn’t see fans as people who are responsible for he wealth and success. She sees them as the villains in her life.
Her view on reality is distorted.
It feels as if she sees the act of performing as something more of an exercise in forced labor, than a blessing. And there is a real problem with that.
Still, this mess in Brazil was a speed bump. The show will go on.
But its another example of a person exhibiting ungrateful behavior for a life billions would pray for.
