No Charges Over Alan Ritchson Motorbike Episode Was Justice Done Right

“Reacher” star Alan Ritchson won’t be facing any charges, after an ugly episode involving a motorbike ride and a neighbor channeling a fifth grade hall monitor in a suburban neighborhood (story HERE).

In case you missed it, Ritchson was on a motorbike ride around the neighborhood with family. The neighbor didn’t like how fast Ritchson was riding and decided to take action.

Now, the proper action would have been to call the cops. That’s what a normal person would have done.

But instead, this neighbor decided to walk in front of the motorcycle while it was in motion, causing Ritchson to crash. Both are incredibly lucky to have not gotten seriously hurt.

That wasn’t enough for the neighbor. This guy decided to get in Jack Reacher’s face until and become the aggressor. Ritchson ultimately had enough and took the guy down.

The first 12 hours of this story were wild because we didn’t see all of the footage. We saw the tail-end of it, with Ritchson standing over the hall-monitor. It was bad optics. I even joked about how Tom Cruise would have just challenged the neighbor to a dance contest.

But thank goodness, Ritchson was wearing a body cam. That’s where the truth came in.

The neighbor was clearly at fault. While celebrities misbehave all of the time, this wasn’t the case here.

And I think its truly telling Ritchson was given the chance to press charges on the neighbor and declined. Good. Don’t give that clown anymore press.

This story moved quickly. It hasn’t even been a week. That’s a good thing.

Because both the real courts and court of public opinion got this one right in a hurry.
