Okay. We’re back with a Magnum P.I watch along. I didn’t get the chance during it’s first run.

1:04: I know there was a network change. This certainly does feel like a CBS show.

2:24: Obviously the fandom is way ahead of me here, but Perdita Weeks is great.

3:12: Nice. Infidelity PI job.

3:25: Great opening sequence. Higgins whipped the ‘rari’ nicely.

4:15: The late great Carl Weathers. First time I’ve seen a measure of his work since typing up his tribute stuff. He was great.

7:37: The “From the head down” title makes sense now.

10:00: More Nuzo. You’ve got to wonder where his story is going if the character is already gone.

14:22: I can appreciate the show showing us Magnum doing the leg work.

14:57: Viola. We got the fish. Great detective work.

15:20: Well, this is escalating quickly

18:06: Ehhh, rifle vs baseball bat. Not buying it. But a sniper rifle is much better.

18:50: We’re not even half way through btw.

19:39: I’m glad Rick recovered there. Grabbing the sniper is kind of lame.

22:45: That writing. But it did make sense for something to be inside the fish. But how did it get there?

23:23: Ann-o-nimitee. Love it.

24:29: Here is the thing. Carl Weathers is guest starring here but he still had his Mandalorian work ahead of him. Happy to see how great his career was all the way until the end.

24:33: Magnum kept his word to Tua. Wow.

25:00: But Rick and TC are right. Case is over. Wow.

27:42: Long scene here but it’s well done character development

28:10: Old typewriters on an author’s shelf is great attention to detail.

30:10: Steak. Well done. Much deserved look of contempt from Higgins there.

30:44: Love the bad table manners here.

31:48: I like gristle by the way.

32:38: The fake birthday dinner is an underappreciated art. I remember when Denny’s made you show an ID.

34:17: You know, I was actually a PI and you never follow that close. Higgins was right.

35:35: Loving the Higgins spy angle. Most interesting character on the show so far.

36:27: I can see the attack in the car coming. The contentious banter is kind of a cliche’

37:37: Love the rollover wreck. They could have done the scene without it. But it still worked.

39:30: Hire back Tua. Better man than me. If he only knew. And I feel bad for Magnum not getting his money but I think that’s the point here.

42:55: They’ve got to be going somewhere with these Nuzo flashbacks.

43:04: Good episode. I have to say, it was good to see Carl Weathers again. He was a great one.
