AEW: The wrestling internet is all the sudden deciding to turn on Tony Kahn for no good reasons

The internet wrestling community is always a bizarre and fast moving place. We can’t realize what we want. We’re informed by a lousy group of bloggers that are just making stuff up half the time. And we fail to remember that wrestlers aren’t programmable robots waiting for our commands. They’re real people with real people reactions.

I know this, but I’m still confused as to why the internet turned on AEW boss, Tony Kahn, so quickly and without no good reasons.

AEW has had the best wrestling show on TV for the last two and half years. The product is still sensational with Jon Moxley doing the best work of his career, Kenny Omega returning, and a stable of young stars on the way up to wrestling superstardom.

But we’ve allowed gossip to soil our opinion of the product, and we don’t even know what’s true and what’s not.

And because we don’t know what’s real or what’s not, we go straight to the top. And that means blaming Tony Kahn.

Its the Vince McMahon reflex, ironically.

But while the WWE product was suffering and top flight athletes were being treated like garbage, that anger was warranted.

At this point in time, with no real evidence to support anything, this anger is not.

This is a great time to be a wrestling fan. We’ve got two promotions doing some great work and that makes it a viewers market once again because of the awesome job Triple H is doing.

We should try to enjoy that.

And not believe everything we hear and read to allow that to ruin the party.
