ESPN Get Up: Greenberg calls Bears treatment of Caleb Williams a “fiduciary disgrace”

“What the Chicago Bears have done to him (Williams) is a fiduciary disgrace. It is organization malpractice. They should be ashamed.” began Greenberg “If there is anyone in that building with enough pride in it they should be ashamed of what they have done. When everyone one of us said don’t keep the coach if they fire him after one year, then they fire him to elevate the one guy who seemed to be working with him and had some clue to get the best out of him, they elevate that guy to that job. And now you’ve got Caleb Williams sitting on the sideline like ‘oh my god’. They should sit him down for the rest of the year to keep the damage from being done. They have done everything they can to ruin this kid and it is painful to watch. One hundred years of this and this is as bad as it’s been”
At this point the Bears are the only NFC North team that will not make the playoffs. In the past years, they’ve drafted other highly touted quarterbacks such as Justin Fields, and Mitchell Trubisky only to have them suffer similar fates to Caleb Williams and be traded away.
