The third season of The White Lotus started out with a bang this weekend, actually several bangs, with the Thailand resort being the site of a shootout that will claim at least one victim.

While we only have one episode to work with, showrunners did some impressive foreshadowing with some tension, and even a simmering feud between the guests.

Let’s look at who may have gotten shot, and who may have done the shooting.

Rick (Walter Goggins): Rick is giving me a hitman or assassin vibe. He’s definitely got a lot of distractions going and we know by the sizzle reel that he actually owns a firearm. And don’t take your eyes off of his girlfriend, who seems too sweet to be true.

Timothy or Tim (Jason Issacs): Timothy has already had two bad run-ins with Rick. The show loves feuding guests from different storylines, it feels like a collision is imminent.

Greg: Yeah. Greg is back. And unless they’re manipulating the timelines (there are theories that season 2 and season 3 are happening at the same time), then he’s a widower after he got Tanya killed. Jennifer Coolidge fans are out for blood.

Belinda: Our recurring character gets recognized by Greg. And we even see her attempt to contact police which is being resisted by the resort staff in the sizzle reel. We see the shooting through the eyes of her son, and a reunion there should be sweet. If HBO did decide to kill Belinda, it would upset viewers in a way we haven’t seen since Euphoria last aired.
