Running Point on Netflix has started reaching the eyeballs of it’s subscribers, and the show is a mildy amusing take on the Jeanie Buss inspired journey with the Los Angeles Lakers.

But the common ties don’t end there.

In episode 6, we see Kate Hudson as Isla Gordon channeling Ari Gold from “Entourage” when taking her rivals to task.

Isla questions her meddlesome brothers, who she believes to have leaked a trade rumor to the press.

In doing so, she decides to shoot them with a paintball gun.

It’s humorous but not original.

You’ll recall in Entourage, after Ari Gold muscles his way back into the LA talent management scene, he invades an office with a paintball gun, simultaneously firing and shooting his rivals with paintballs. This while “How you like me now” plays.

As for Running Point, we discover that it’s the sibling who’s not in the room but in rehab who is causing the leak. Cam gets a text from the annoying talk show host at the end of the show, while he’s painting in rehab. And Isla’s brothers return the favor later in the episode by shooting their sister, in helping her find the error of her ways.
