The great thing about having a blog is that when you see something that is good, and not enough people are talking about it, then you can write something about it.

And “Dying For Sex” may have the wildest TV episode of the year to this point (Early April).

It only took the Oscar winning, and legendary Sissy Spacek to shout “Don’t drink my daughter’s p** if you can’t handle it you freak” to a man dressed in a dog costume for sexual pleasure.

Let’s rewind.

Episode 5 titled “My Pet” indeed starts with the introduction of Spacek’s Gail, who is playing Molly’s mom and has to take over nurse duties from Nikki after she has a dental accident.

Gail is clueless and invites a bunch of unwanted guests to Molly’s chemo session, including her ex husband, and his new girlfriend.

Molly is prepared and invites “Pet”, who’s built a relationship with our protagonist revolving around pleasure acting as a dog. He comes to clinic in costume and scares everyone away.

That ain’t even the most wild part.

Pet decides he likes human waste and when Molly is getting ready to indulge him back in the apartment, Gail walks in during the act and causes a panic. Molly then has to go to neighbor guy to get his help cutting pet out of the collar. Gail then reveals to him that Molly has cancer.

Sadly, Nikki high on painkillers breaks up with Noah after he hides her phone from her while Molly is in a crisis. Jenny Slate is doing such an awesome job in this role.

We get some optimism as Neighbor Guy decides he wants to continue his relationship with Molly. And Gail leaves after finding some peace with her daughter, before Nikki arrives and collapses into bed with her best friend.
