The Bear: Here is everything we can read from the Newspaper Restaurant Review
Season four of “The Bear” has dropped. And the answer to one of the biggest questions over the past year since the S3 finale dropped has been answered.
“The Bear” got a mostly negative review. I went ahead and got what I could from the show and will try to transcribe and decipher what we can actually read. Here we go.
Bear Necessities Missing:
The Bear Stumbles With Culinary Dissonance:
(Photo caption): Carmen Berzatto and his team are striving for excellence with his chaos menu but often missing the mark.
(Beginning of the second column. The positive review for the Italian Beef):
“Only the classic Italian beef sandwich was exactly the same delicious I remembered from when I was a kid. Exactly the same time the three times I visited for lunch. Which is fine in theory if the rest of the house had been clued in. No one seemed to be able to explain the run (unreadable) correctly. One night I could barely (hear?) the music. The next it invaded..”
The first column is mostly cut off. It says something “wildly”.
Some analysis:
We know that the beef window is doing well. Uncle Jimmy says that during the premiere.
But the real tell could be the problem the critic had with service, which does lend itself to Richie blaming himself during the clock installation in the kitchen.
It also makes the addition of Chef Jess and Garrett a bigger win. We observe the newest members of the team whipping everyone else into shape as the premiere concludes.
What did you think of the season four premiere of The Bear. Let me know in the comments.
