Movie Review: “Fixed” Is So Bad, Netflix Should Comp Us A Month

An “F” movie usually has to make me angry to earn the worst possible grade I can give it. With “Fixed” it’s almost like it was designed to make me mad, and the horribly unfunny adult animated “comedy” arrives on Netflix this week.

Bull (voiced by Adam Divine, who is more “Jexi” here than “Righteous Gemstones”) has discovered that he’s getting fixed, and himself along with his equally unfunny crew, decide to get one more memorable night in before the surgery takes place.

You would think that the filmmakers here had the parts of their brain responsible for laughter removed when making this movie.

There are so many animated shots of a canine’s anus here that I have to wonder if they thought this was funny. It was not and in fact it was repulsive. Remarkably enough, there is some serious talent doing voices here including Fred Armisen, Kathryn Hahn, both who should have known better but are picking up an easy paycheck anyways. And Idris Elba, whose managed to now be in a stomach sickness inducing feature starring both dogs and “Cats” (another F movie).

I’m trying my best to find something good to say about this movie and it’s a struggle. It’s that bad. I suppose you have to admire the lack of regard for whether an audience would care for such a project as being brave? This is an adult movie. While humans in general should avoid, children have no place setting eyeballs on it.

Okay, I got it. It’s just over an hour and fifteen minutes if you cut out the longer Netflix credits.

I’m watching this movie while I’m experiencing dental pain. While a temporary escape would have been nice, I was prepared to take the pliers to my mouth while watching this movie.

Avoid at all cost. One of the worst films of the year.
