This is going to be a huge year for Kyler Murray. Six seasons in, the Arizona Cardinals and the rest of the league will be trying to discover if he can finally get this team over the hump in a winnable NFC West.

He’s got a good matchup fantasy-wise against the New Orleans Saints in the Superdome. Here’s why..

The Saints had one of the worst defenses last year: 31st against the run and 27th against the past, while ranked 15th in points scored against.

A stronger Marvin Harrison Jr: Murray has a legit number one target, who is going into a pivotal second year. There is a lot of reasons for optimism.

A banged up Saints Defense: Trevor Penning, Chase Young, Jordan HOwden, and Alontae Taylor all have the ouchies.

But James Conner and a diversified offense: Could slow down Murray in the red zone.

Bottom Line: Check your projections. In deeper leagues some of you will have Murray starting and that could be fine. But he’s still a QB2 for most of you. The Cardinals are expected to score in the 20s.
