Fantasy Football: Marvin Harrison Jr. Looks Promising In Week 1 Saints Match Up

Marvin Harrison Jr. was ranked pretty high on a lot of wide receiver boards during the draft, and why not? He’s a year older, and so is Kyler Murray, who is also poised for a breakout year, as the Cardinals try to make their push for an NFC West crown with no clear favorites.

It all starts with a promising week one match up against the New Orleans Saints on the road (but in the Superdome).

You should start Marvin Harrison Jr. this week. Here’s why..

A bearish Saints defense: Ranked 30th overall last season and 27th against the pass (in the same division as Bryce Young and Michael Penix Jr).

The Saints secondary is ailing: Safety Jordan Howden and Alontae Taylor have both popped up on the injury report.

The Saints could try to make a statement: Many believe the Saints could be one of the worst teams in the league. But they’ve still got firepower in Chris Olave and Alvin Kamara. And Spencer Rattler is probably tired of being dissed on social media. If they strike early and succeed, Arizona will have to score some points quickly.

Bottom Line: Start MHJ and hope he can shoot out the lights with Murray on Sunday afternoon.
