You may have been scrolling on your TikTok feed and finding random videos of your friends posting videos of random birds and calling them something their not. For example, calling a pigeon an owl. In the background you’ll hear “Dirty Money” from Ida Maria playing.

The trend is from Peacemaker on HBO Max, where Langston Fleury (played by Tim Meadows) suffers from a condition called “Bird Blindness” which causes him to misidentify and sometimes overlook birds altogether. This gets some of his teammates killed later by Eagily, the protagonist bird and partner of John Cena’s title character.

The joke has actually gotten more popular because of the TikTok trend since it aired. But because the show is behind a paywall, many casual social media users may have overlooked it.
