It goes without saying that drugs being brought into the area of Northeast Wisconsin, are a huge reason for the corruption of an otherwise beautiful way of living up here. Drugs will rot out a neighborhood like flesh eating bacteria.

Which is why stories like these are particularly disturbing. There has been a home on Agamaite Road in the Town Of Scott that has been a “nightmare” for residents because of the drugs being sold from the home (story HERE).

Despite a prior raid, and dozens of calls for help from neighbors, Brown County Sheriff and the Town of Scott haven’t done anything.

This story really bothers me right now because I’m going through the same thing in downtown Green Bay. I’ve got a sex offender who lied to move into my area and is doing some similarly illegal things near me too (story HERE).

And on both occasions law enforcement has been limited in what they can do.

We get it, cops can’t babysit a house. It would not be a wise expenditure of Brown County taxpayer dollars to sit there and wait for the bad guys to be “bad”.

But in the spaces between arrest and crimes being broken, there are residents like the ones who live on Agamaite Road, and the ones who live near me that are trapped.

Our unfortunate reality is that we have to continue watching bad people do bad things. This includes the sale of poison that is destroying our children.

For the sake of both the residents in that Scott neighborhood and in my neighborhood, I hope the good guys can start taking back territory too.
