On Sunday we lost Alex Trebek, the long time host of Jeopardy and the nation has been sharing their kind words on social media throughout the day, honoring the TV icon who had a space in almost all of our lives at one point or another (my post honoring him HERE).
On Sunday night, ABC will run a special edition of 20/20 remembering Trebek. He host Jeopardy for 37 years and has been hosting game shows since 1966.

Trebek died at the age of 80 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Tony Vinciquerra, the chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment had the following words.
“Today we lost a legend and a beloved member of the Sony Pictures family. for 37 amazing years, Alex, was that comforting voice, that moment of escape and entertainment at the end of a long, hard day for millions of people around the world. He was the heart and soul of JEOPARDY! and he will be deeply missed by everyone who made him part of their lives.”
ABC usually runs their slate of game shows on Sunday night. The special honoring Trebek seems like a perfect place on their prime time line up.
