Pivoting: Willy Wonka and the drug dealing parents
Amy, Jodie, and Sarah were back tonight for a new episode of “Pivoting”, and a school production of “Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory” would take center stage this week.
But first, Jodi continued her affair with her trainer (who still lives with his mom BTW) and was stuck in his bedroom when said mom (who is also only 7 years older than her) came home to crash the party.
Amy was trying to guide her friend through the parental fiasco but had to stop giving Jodi some advice though to go do a drug deal with a teacher from her kid’s school. And her kid ended up landing the part of Willy Wonka in the production. What a coincidence!
“I’m a good mother” she declared “We are good parents that want the worst for our son.”
You might be asking where is Sarah through all this. Well, she fell in love with Jodie’s bathroom concept and spent most of the episode in a bubble bath. When Jodi’s husband came home, she had to bolt but not before slapping naked bodies with Mr. Jodie. Great music during this scene.
Ultimately, everything worked out. “Drugs really do solve everything” was Amy’s message at the end of this sprint of an episode.
Great comedic performances from Eliza Coupe, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Maggie Q this week. This is what we signed up for. One of my favorite episodes so far.
See you next week!
