Daily Dozens Trivia Explained for 2/1/24: “What’s good…!?”

Well, its great to be back playing the Dozen: Daily Trivia game with you guys. It’s been a couple of months.

Explained: I was stumped. Dexter’s from Florida usually mean vigilante’s from Miami for me.

Answer: Sergei Bobvrosky

Explained: Stumped. Not a big hockey guy. Great question though.

College Basketball: Son of rapper and producer Master P, Percy Romeo Miller, aka Lil Romeo, played college basketball at this Pac-10 school from 2008-2010.

Answer: USC

Explained: If they’re connected to celebrities and playing college ball in California, its usually at USC.

History: Living from 1867-1934, this Polish-French physicist and chemist is known for her pioneering research in radioactivity and was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize.

Answer: Marie Curie

Explained: Its trivia muscle memory at this point.

Celebrity Mashup:

Answer: Henry Cavil and Miley Cyrus

Explained: Cavil’s hair and Miley’s eyes aren’t easily missed.

Chain Restaurants: What fast food or casual chain sells a signature item on their menu called the Homewrecker, a “big” and “legendary” burrito?

Answer: Moe’s

Explained: “Welcome to Moe’s!”, the only burrito place that’s not charging you an insane price for chips and salsa.

Television: In what U.S. state were the series Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul primarily set in?

Answer: New Mexico

Explained: Two first class shows and New Mexico celebrates them all of the time.

Movies: Grossing over $350 million worldwide, what actor had the leading role as Det. Del Spooner in the 2004 film I, Robot?

Answer: Will Smith

Explained: This was still prime time Will Smith, which would last a few more years until he started to drag a little.

Music: Sir Mix-a-Lot’s song “Baby Got Back” was heavily sampled in this 2014 Nicki Minaj song, whose music video broke streaming records.

Answer: Anaconda

Explained: And this is actually the shout out in the title. Nicki actually feuded with Miley resulting in her calling out Hannah Montana during an awards show to ask her “What’s Good, Miley?!”
