When Saturday Night Live announced this weekend that Shane Gillis would be hosting a new episode later this month, it raised a lot of eyebrows, and it made a lot of fans angry online

This is because SNL fired Gillis about five years ago, soon after hiring him for remarks they saw as offensive.

Which is why it’s a complete turnaround for Gillis to be hosting a show. His critics believe its a reward for bad behavior.
