The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey: Trying to find Reggie’s killer
And we’re back again this week with a new episode of The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, and we’ve started to pick up some speed with this miracle treatment, as Ptolemy started to remember more about Coydog, Reggie, and the past in general.
Oh, and also about the location of $40K in cash and some expensive coins in his apartment. He also started asking some questions about Reggie’s murder, and had a real conversation about the end with Dr. Rubin.
Ptolemy also went to visit his old friend Syed, who appraised his coins and each one of them was worth $50K..each. Robyn also opened up to Ptolemy about her tough upbringing as their lives started improving.
Then the city, who was sent by Ptolemy’s greedy family, dropped by. While the case manager was inspecting, he asked the cops about Reggie, who said no one was being investigated as a suspect. And he passed their wellness check/test.
When they visited Hilly and Niecie, they were taking money from Reggie’s family while letting his kids play in the street. Ptolemy had it out with them, and let them know that Robyn would be running his affairs. He then took Hilly outside and had him confess that he had been taking his money. To wrap up his visit, he wanted to try and organize another event for Reggie.
After doing some investigating he also discovered that an old enemy of his nephew got out of jail early.
“I’m about to kill me a Mother&^%^&*” he said. “That’s what I’m about to do.”
So we get some good plot progression here. I’ll be here next week. We actually don’t have too many of these episodes left. And with this title, along with the flash forward to kick off the series, I think we all know where this is headed.
See you next week.
