We learned from the full season three trailer of “The Bear” that Carmy’s season 2 love interest, Claire (Molly Gordon), will be back and be urged to return to her trouble boyfriend-chef.

For some reason, Claire had some haters in the fandom, which is strange because she’s one of my favorite characters. In fact, she might be the only one on the show who has their act together.

But critics said she was too perfect, and that trope really makes no sense. Yeah, it was tough for me to understand why a beautiful doctor would even bother with someone like Carmy but maybe she sees the same things in him that we’re supposed to see, a brilliant culinary mind that has some baggage.

For those that aren’t happy to see Claire back, I would ask this question.

“Who would you rather see Carmy with?”

Because the cast of “The Bear” is only getting more popular. You’ve got to wonder how many more seasons of the show we’re going to get. We’re at season 3, and these are short seasons, so they’re going to have to plan the journey carefully.

There simply isn’t enough time to bring in someone else.

Because our plate is already full (no pun intended). Carmy has to go for a star and in order to do justice to that story, they need time.

Would you rather see him alone? Because that’s really the only other option at this point. And let’s be real, Carmy is a great character and we’re going to all hope he finds happiness when this series is over.
