Explained: It’s been a long time since Canada has won a Stanley Cup.

Cars: The Crosstrek, Outback, and Ascent are all models produced by what automobile manufacturer?

Answer: Subaru

Explained: Everyone I know that owns one, loves it.

Celebrity Mashup: Michael Bolton and Patton Oswalt

Explained: Maybe the toughest mashup I’ve ever seen. Less than 5 percent got it right. An absolute killer. Oswalt isn’t even Mashup famous.

Cereal: “The taste you can see!” is a slogan associated with what cereal?

Answer: Cinnamon Toast Crunch

Explained: That’s some good cereal.

Television: Running on Spike TV from 2003-2007, this cult-favorite TV show was a comedic redubbing and repurposing of footage from a 1980’s Japanese game show called Takeshi’s Castle

Answer: Most Extreme Elimination Challenge

Explained: I watched Spike TV and don’t remember this one.

Movies: Christian Bale won a Best Actor Golden Globe for his portrayal of Dick Cheney in this 2018 political satire biographical dramedy.

Answer: Vice

Explained: You put “Veep” didn’t you. That’s the Julia Louis Dreyfuss HBO show.

Music: Fred Durst is the lead vocalist of this nu metal band that originally gained mainstream success in 1999 and 2000 with songs like “Rollin”, “Nookie”, and “Break Stuff”.

Explained: Used to absolute jam to this stuff a quarter of a century ago. And I have no regrets.
