What’s On TV 6/8/24: Stanley Cup begins, MLB Action, new Dateline

You know its the Saturday Night Summer TV doldrums when the grids are only giving us hockey and mid season baseball. That’s exactly what we’ve got here. Take the family out tonight and have a good time.

Unless you’re a hockey fan, because ABC is giving us game one of the ABC Stanley Cup Finals between the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers. ABC has two big championship series on the stove. They’ve also got the NBA Finals.

Not much going on anywhere else.

FOX has MLB Action. NBC has a rerun of American Ninja Warrior and a new Dateline.

The CW has back to back repeats of the Conners. CBS has a rerun of The Equalizer before back to back new eps of 48 hours.

If you’ve got Disney Plus, you might check out The Acolyte which premiered this week, or if you have Netflix, give “Hitman” with Glen Powell a try.

What are you watching tonight? Let me know in the comments.
