History: After defeating George H.W. Bush in the 1992 election, Bill Clinton won re-election by defeating this former Kansas Senator and Republican nominee in the 1996 election.

Answer: Bob Dole

Explained: Dole had some fun and made some money in a Pepsi commercial with Britney Spears a few years later.

Celebrity Mashup Answer: Jason Alexander and Julie Louis Dreyfuss

Explained: Both Seinfeld alums. My post hint of the day.

Chain Restaurants: While not the leader in its space, this chain, popular in the Midwest & Southeast, is known for the Big Buford burger and its seasoned fries.

Answer: Checkers and Rally’s

Explained: The best fries out there. They’re a leader in that space.

Television: From 2005-2010, this CBS crime drama followed a college mathematics professor as he helps his FBI agent brother solve crime cases in Los Angeles.

Answer: Numbers or Numb3rs

Explained: Amazing how quickly CBS dramas get forgotten. Don’t get me started on Scorpion.

Movies: In this 2011 animated comedy Western, Johnny Depp voiced a pet chameleon who accidentally ends up in a dirt town in desperate need of a new sheriff.

Answer: Rango

Explained: One of those movies you forget you exist until you see them on the 99 cent shelf.
