Alex Morgan, arguably the most notable member of the United States Women’s National Team for over a decade, has been left off of the Olympic team set for the Paris games later this summer.

Morgan said the following on social media

Today, I’m disappointed about not having the opportunity to represent our country on the Olympic stage. This will always be a tournament that is close to my heart and I take immense pride any time I put on the crest. In less than a month, I look forward to supporting this team and cheering them on alongside the rest of our country. LFG

Farewell Bill Cobbs:

Veteran actor Bill Cobbs, who has starred in numerous blockbusters has died at the age of 90. It’s almost a certainty that you’ve watched Cobbs work, whether it was in “The Bodyguard” alongside Whitney Houston, or his New Jack City role, which he delivered final justice to the notorious Nino Brown. Rest In Peace to that legend.
