What’s On TV Tonight 7/3/24: Axel F arrives, Presumed Innocent continues

Everyone is getting out of the way of the eve of the Fourth of July holiday. There is nothing new to watch on free over the air television. A streamer does offer a highly anticipated movie sequel we’ve been waiting 30 years for though.

NBC is going with a night of repeats of it’s One Chicago franchise with Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD.

ABC has repeats of The Conners, Abbott Elementary and Shark Tank. This might be your best bet if you’d just like some background noise.

CW has a reruns of Police 24/7 and Wild Cards.

Cable is quiet. Even sports are muted.

But the streamers offer some hope.

Netflix will release Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. That’s right. Three decades after we last saw him in the role, Eddie Murphy will don the Detroit Lions jacket and head back out to the 90210.

Apple TV is also continuing it’s superb redo of Presumed Innocent. You’ll find coverage of that show here later.

And on Disney Plus, you can always catch The Acolyte on Disney Plus if it eluded you last night.
