What’s On TV Tonight 7/5/24: Joe Biden interview special, WWE Smackdown
Your normally low key Friday night free television will be infused with a high stakes news special that looks to influence voters ahead of the November election.
Indeed, ABC will air a One on One Interview with President Joe Biden. The discussion will take place from the battle ground state of Wisconsin and George Stephanopolus will be interviewing the Commander In Chief. This is the first interview for President Biden after last week’s debate performance which sparked speculation that he could step aside after a lackluster performance. 20/20 will follow afterwards.
On FOX, WWE Smackdown will air. The show is dealing with the Bloodline vs. Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens ahead of the Money In The Bank Pay Per View tomorrow.
NBC will air reruns of Night Court (good summer time promoting there) followed by a brand new Dateline.
CBS will air a new episode of Lingo before followed by reruns of SWAT and Blue Bloods.
The CW is actually all new. We’ve got a brand new The Big Bakeover, followed by Totally Funny Kids, and Totally Funny Animals.
Cable will be mostly quiet. But the streamers will be running in high gear with The Boys continuing with one of it’s wildest episodes ever on Prime Video. The Acolyte on Disney Plus. And House of the Dragon on Max.
