Dancing with the Stars: Closing arguments why each star should win

We’re headed full speed towards the Dancing with the Stars finals with five teams, after showrunners decided not to eliminate anyone in the semi final round.

And all five final teams, are great.

But, if you’re on the fence, here are the closing arguments why each candidate deserves to hold the trophy when the final credits roll.

Chandler Kinney

Why she should be champion: Excellence the entire season.

A Twitter poll I took illustrated that most of you didn’t even know who she was before the season started. But she has been the epitome of grace the entire way. You could argue that she hasn’t had a bad dance. If you want to reward the best wall to wall performing contestant, take a look at Chandler Kinney.

Joey Graziadei:

Why he should be champion: Limitless star potential and another Bachelornation victory.

Guys, Joey is a star. The dude looks like he’ll eventually be hosting a TV show of his own where he’ll be rescuing puppies from burning buildings. And we know that ABC/Disney loves Bachelornation celebrities that can do something with their popularity and “Hannah Brown” themselves to the moon.

Danny Amendola:

Why he should be champion: We love watching the underdog win

Make no mistake. The Super Bowl champion receiver is in uncharted territory. When he was riding with Tom Brady, he was a football Goliath. Now, he’s got to not only worry about giving us his best performances, but also tell us a story of his journey that might not be viewed as epic as the other finalists. He’s got an uphill climb. But DWTS fans love seeing stars reach the mountain top.

Ilona Maher:

Why she should be champion: Easily the most improved star, and a sincere “love yourself” message.

A social media polls illustrates that the rugby player is the most improved finalist in the field. But we love Ilona because she has become a performer that can not only be a physical champion, but a graceful star, that believes in her potential. And her self love message is organic and sincere. It’s not being preached to us. Instead, it’s being demonstrated through her performances and heartfelt interviews. Marketing professionals need to be studying this.

Stephen Nederoscik:

Why he should be champion: You want to kick off a youth movement in the most adorable way possible

Stephen is 26. Professional, Rylee Arnold is 19. Add those ages together and they’re younger than some of the candidates we had on this year. Both will see stardom after this season, but if you’re looking for ambassadors that will move DWTS into next season with more younger viewers, and potentially a larger audience, I can’t think of a better pair. They’re humble. They’re cheerful. And they would be grateful champions.
