The Righteous Gemstones: Here is what happens to everyone at the end of the series
The Righteous Gemstones has finished its hilarious run, and it’s time to sort out what happened to everybody. This is a bigger cast, so lets get right down to it.
Eli Gemstone: Considering all three of his kids were shot by Corey at Galilee Gulch, our religious patriarch does okay at the end. He marries Kelvin and Keefe, and Lori finds him before he heads off the sea. His smile is the last shot of the series. Great work by the legendary John Goodman.
Jesse Gemstone: Danny McBride catches a bullet with the sibs, but he recovers and is last seen dancing at the wedding with a happy and united family.
Judy Gemstone: After getting shot, Judy watches her good karma comeback to reward her, when Dr. Watson saves her life by getting Jesse his gun to take down Corey. Judy is last seen happily dancing with BJ at the Kelvin and Keefe wedding. Really happy to see Edi Patterson get some favorite character mentions next to Walton Goggins.
Kelvin Gemstone: Our Top Christ Following Man of the Year had a rough start to the finale, getting shot by Corey, but he gets the wedding of his dreams to Keefe right next to the treehouse. A great season for Adam Divine, where he was the focal point of the family.
Uncle “Baby” Billy Freeman: Walton Goggins was great everytime he was on screen and is getting some well deserved accolades for TRG. As for Baby Billy, he says goodbye to stardom and chooses to be a better wife to Tiffany, a better father to Lionel and Aimee Leigh Jr. and hopefully a better boss to Sola. Those last lines to Eli and the hero shot for Goggins was perfect.
Amber Gemstone and the kids: Cassidy Freeman remains underrated and I hope to see her again soon. Amber is happily dancing with her family at the wedding, and at the end of series montage, we see Gideon grow his ministry with skateboarding as a happy Pontius looks on.
