Fantasy Football: AJ Brown To New England Will Renew His Value
After much speculation, AJ Brown is going to be a New England Patriot after the Philadelphia Eagles traded away the disgruntled receiver for
first and fifth round picks.
Here what it all means for Fantasy Football owners:
AJ Brown Is A Solid WR1 Again: The Patriots needed a top tier target for quarterback Drake Maye, after the existing receiving corp got them all the way to the Super Bowl.
Brown will step into the solid WR1 role, replacing Stefon Diggs who had a decent season with over a thousand yards receiving and four touchdowns.
In contrast, AJ Brown had over a thousand yards in his own right with 7 touchdowns. This with a reduced role in the troubled Eagles offense where Jalen Hurts had this own troubles.
He Will Still Have To Share Touches: With fellow new Patriot Romeo Doubs who comes over from Green Bay And Hunter Henry who led the team in receiving touchdowns last year with 7 trips to the end zone. The same as Brown.
The Patriots Will Have To Put Up Points: If they want to compete with the Buffalo Bills twice and track meets with the Seahawks, Bears, and Chiefs. They’ll need to throw the football. And Drake Maye will likely once again be an MVP candidate.
Bottom Line: AJ Brown is back. And he should be on every owner’s radar come draft time.
