Episode four of Gen V introduced a new “Hero” whose powers were made evident during the show, but not necessarily explained.

Of course, we’re talking about Vought true crime documentarian, Tek Knight. Real fast, Tek Knight is called to Godolkin by Vought to investigate what really happened to Golden Boy and what’s truly going on in the woods. And he does so almost effortlessly.

Tek Knight’s powers are explained as deduction by the Amazon Gen V X-Ray. Basically, he’s Sherlock Holmes on detective steroids.

We watch Knight use classic lie detection techniques like pupil size, and his ability to track heart rate by sight alone makes him something of a human lie detector or living polygraph machine.

If you’re familiar with Sherlock on BBC or the Sherlock Holmes movies with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, you may have seen similar techniques employed those iterations of the world’s greatest detective.

What’s interesting about Tek Knight’s power is that there are people who try and learn his skills in real life. There are countless books on body language, deduction, and finding liars.

And fortunately for Sherlock Holmes and detectives who try to learn what Tek Knight can do, there isn’t a brain tumor involved.

There also aren’t any side effects that make you a sex freak that wants to do nasty things with every opening you can find.

Hey. This is a show that takes place in “The Boys” universe and even Superman has his kryptonite.

And his vice wasn’t even in the top 3 of most bizarre things we saw on episode 4 of Gen V.
