What’s On TV Tonight 6/27/24: Joe Biden vs Donald Trump debate sweeps coverage

It’s a “fight night”.

The first general election debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will be covered by almost every major television outlet. The debate will actually be hosted by CNN and will take place from Atlanta with Jake Tapper moderating.

The debate doesn’t start until 9pm est, so there is an hour to fill from each of the networks.

ABC is going with pre debate coverage.

NBC will stay with it’s ongoing Olympic trials. Those trials move to USA after the debate starts.

CBS will go with reruns of Young Sheldon and Ghost.

FOX will run a half hour of COPA tonight soccer headlines before a half hour primer before the debate.

The good ole’ CW won’t be showing the Trump, Biden showdown. the green brand will go with back to back reruns of The Conners before new episodes of Masters of Illusion and World’s Funniest Animals.

If you’re not into politics, the good news is that the streamers are fully loaded.

The third season of The Bear is off and running on Hulu. Check back here for coverage frequently.

The Boys will continue their fourth season, you’ll see some thing on them later today here.

That 90s show returns to Netflix. My Lady Jane begins on Prime Video and Supacell kicks off on Netflix as well. ‘Jane’ and ‘Cell’ will also see time on this blog.
