Million Dollar Secret: Five Take Aways After The Season One Finale
Our first season of Million Dollar Secret is behind us, and while it was compared to a Netflix version of “The Traitors” after it’s premiere, the show delivered enough intrigue and good times to be considered an enjoyable piece of reality television. I would happily watch a second season.
Still, now that Cara, probably the most attractive In and Out Employee I’ve seen, is now a millionaire, we have to unpack some matters before moving on with our lives.
Here are five take aways from the season one finale of Million Dollar Secret:

The Final Four players were the best players: Sam played the best pure all around reality game. Corey never let himself appear like a threat. Sydnee had a wonderful challenge record. And Cara was such a gifted liar, at times it felt like she believed herself. Great cast all around.
Sydnee had two traitor teammates during challenges: If Lydia doesn’t tank her slingshot efforts, and Cara doesn’t intentionally lose lasers, then things may have been much different.
Cara’s personal story mixed with her heel turn was a strong cup of coffee: She has sick family and comes from a tough background. She was such a sweetheart that I tabbed her as a dark horse contender a couple of posts back (story HERE).
The final challenge needed work: The season wasn’t perfect. The Trophy Room mechanic is broken, and we went from glaciers and attack dogs to threading needles. We can even things out a bit.
Peter Serafinowicz did a fine hosting job: Great work by Peter. He was present. He was meaningful. And he was fun without being overbearing. Just excellent work.
