The Falcon And The Winter Soldier: Finale sets things right while standing up exciting possibilities
Warning: The following posts contain spoilers for the most recent episode of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier
The Falcon And The Winter Soldier is behind us (for now), and the finale gave us a lot in an episode that was action packed from beginning to end.
We finally got to see Sam Wilson as Captain America, in a new costume. It was a great look for Anthony Mackie, and something that needed to happen for a lot of fans. He was the big hero here, and his remarks to the politicians after the smoke had settled has been widely lauded on social media. I have a feeling it won’t be long until we see him again.
The Winter Soldier also had some closure. He let go of his terribly hard past with some powerful moments. During that last scene at the party, we got a look at a guy that was moving on with his life. And that was another big part of this series.
Let’s talk about Sharon Carter, who’s Agent 13 gave us a double turn both with a closing scene that got her job back after it was revealed that she was indeed the Power Broker. It was great to have Emily Van Camp here.
And we’ve got to talk about Wyatt Russell’s U.S Agent. I’m positive that a lot of fans didn’t know how to feel when he teamed back up with the guys at the end. And his final uniform reveal with Val (Julia Louis Dreyfus) also demonstrates a promising future.
There were just so many powerful moments here. In addition to Sam’s speech, there was the museum moment with Isaiah and when the credits began, I was really happy with what I watched.
Wandavision was a win. The Falcon And The Winter Soldier was a win. And now, we’ve got Loki, and it’s just a great time to be a Marvel fan.
