Peacemaker is off to a fine start. If you haven’t watched it already, you should (and read my review HERE). It’s a crazy fun time and it looks like another win for HBO and John Cena.

But everyone is talking about that opening sequence.

Set to the song “Do you wanna taste it” by Wig Wam, it features the cast doing a cheesy but really funny dance with Cena at one point sliding into the frame like Tom Cruise in Risky Business. Towards the end, everyone is in the shot, even “Eagly”, Peacemaker’s pet bald eagle.

Is it among the best? Certainly for the modern era it is. But will it eventually rank up there with “Cheers” “The Sopranos” and “Friends” and “The Office”? Maybe.
