Will Trent: The sarcastic and jealous Vampire Vulture
Will Trent was back this week, and while we’ve known for sometime that Will is far from perfect, we got to observe him going through some good ol’ fashion jealously over a girl, as his “stupid detective brain” kept wanting to relive Angie and Ormewood’s fling during their break.
There was a mystery to be solved though, as someone was abducting men from a church, afterwards drugging them and keeping them prisoner in an underground bunker. The story was fine, and I enjoyed Trent and Ormewood working together, but after the latter was captured, I never felt like he was in any actual danger. And he wasn’t, managing to escape by himself. The final sequence in the barn was cool, it was almost like roulette to see which character the bad guy was going to run into.
The mop up was enjoyable. We’ve got some real team building taking place here. The group scene taking place with the hospital curtain was a lot of fun. I did notice a complaint on social media about the music playing too loudly when Trent is talking. That’s valid but something that I think can be easily fixed.
And real fast. As someone who once kept a Chihuahua as a pet, Trent building a ramp for Betty, along with his knowledge of her health from last week, proves he is a very capable dog owner.
It was a good time. I’ll see you next time.
