Fans of Dancing with the Stars never warmed up to Tyra Banks (story HERE). Listen, she will be more successful than you and I will likely ever be, and has conquered the entertainment realm. She is still a very strong television interviewer and will likely find another medium where she’ll be right at home.

It just won’t be on Dancing with the Stars. The show has announced that Alfonso Ribeiro and DWTS staple, Julianne Hough will take over hosting duties next season on Disney Plus.

This is a great decision. Hough is one of the best doing it. She’ll make sure that the attention stays on the celebrities and their professional partners. It wasn’t always that way before

Fans were pretty happy after the news came down ..

What an excellent choice! She has competed and understands dance so she will be able to discuss routines intelligently. She will also be a wonderful co-partner to Alfonso. Tom Bergeron will always be my first choice, happy to see what Juliann brings to the dance floor as host.

Thank goodness Tyra is gone!! Would have loved to see Tom Bergeron back, but willing to give Julianne a chance. She has to be better than Tyra.
