The Boys: What Sister Sage and Tek Knight may be reading

Fans of The Boys have been looking forward to a meeting between Sister Sage and Tek Knight of Gen V fame. After all, why wouldn’t you want to watch the two smartest people in the mythology interact with each other?

But when the two are talking and one is audibly surprised with no explanation. That will get fans buzzing.

Such is the case during one of the last scenes of episode 5 of season 4 of The Boys, when The Seven are gathered at Vought Tower with some guests, including Sam and Cate from Gen V, along with Knight.

We get a shot of Knight and Sage looking at a book..

“Jesus f******* Christ. You serious?” Knight asks Sage before she shushes him with a pen.

What could have been so profound that it would make Knight, who’s very power is Sherlock Holmes deduction, respond like that?

The book appears to have Queen Maeve standing on the cover backed by a rainbow. There are ribbon book markers and some soft font on the back we can’t make out. The pen looks like a click pen with a few different colors that were popular back in the day.

It looks like a diary. But what does it say?

Some theories.

It’s Starlight’s diary with another bombshell: Sage has been getting this intel about Annie, like her childhood save gone wrong, and her abortion. It could be more dirt.

It’s news that Maeve is alive: Sage is the smartest person on the planet. She could figure out that if given the chance.

It’s something about Vought that she’s discovered: This could ultimately go nowhere. Maybe it’s just some company intelligence made for the very purpose of driving us fans crazy.

What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
