Warning: The following contains spoilers for the latest episode of Loki

Who would have thought that in a universe that includes Academy Award Winners like Anthony Hopkins, Marisa Tomei, and Brie Larson, that it would be Owen Wilson and Tom Hiddleston giving us one of the best acted sequences in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Yet, here we are with the premiere of “Loki” and it’s “This Is Your Life” segment really giving us the best from both actors.

There was a lot of story building here too. Mostly the multi-verse and a window that could lead us to the next Spiderman film.

“Spiderman: No Way Home” will bring us villains from the Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield lead movies, such and Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus and Jamie Foxx’s Electro, presumably to build us a Sinister Six story line.

Those villains could be the same kind of variant Loki is being asked to help take down and there are some exciting possibilities.

Another aspect I enjoyed from the premiere was the look. This was some real “Fallout” inspired stuff we saw with the Time Variance Authority and that video was just terrific. There was a lot to like here.

We also had to keep an eye out for some post credit sequences with “Loki” that we saw with “Wandavision” and “The Falcon And The Winter Soldier”. Nothing this time besides that voice over from the video.

This is a solid start from “Loki”. Disney keeps taking new approaches with it’s shows and it keeps working.
