Tulsa King: Here are 5 things we need to see in season 2

I’m going through Tulsa King withdraw.

The action drama, starring Sylvester Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi has already been greenlit for season 2, and we’ll continue to see some first class world building that has made the show successful up to this point.

There are a lot of directions that this showrunners can go.

Here are 5 things I want to see in season 2 of Tulsa King:

A full Stacy heel turn: Andrea Savage was great as Dwight’s lover who also happened to be an ATF agent. She trapped Dwight in the season finale and got him arrested for bribery, despite Dwight trying to take care of her after she was shot by Waltrip. Her character is responsible for the “cliffhanger” (get it?) and I would like to see her step into a bigger authority roadblock role next season.

Make Dana Delaney a regular: I’ve adored this actress since China Beach and Tombstone. Peggy could expand into a proper business partner for Dwight, continuing her awesome work as the ranch owner housing Dwight’s horse.

The Chickie invasion: We haven’t seen the last of Chickie. And Dominick Lombardozzi did such a great job as the ambitous mob prince. Even though we knew the power grab was coming, his acting made it worthwhile. Let’s see him comeback to Tulsa with reinforcements.

More Grand Theft Auto Tulsa: We’ve got the bar/club, dispensary, the ranch (kinda). What else can we give Dwight? When I was in Tulsa, I saw a lot of heavy duty farming equipment sales. What about that?

Preparing a spin-off: This is a Taylor Sheridan joint. Don’t tell me it hasn’t crossed your mind. Let’s get Tyson and Bodhi ready to venture over to their own show. How about they go to New York?

Just some suggestions. Really, Tulsa King is on such solid footing with its star and environment, that I’m comfortable they can make it work.

I can’t wait.
