Special Forces World’s Toughest Test: Savannah Chrisley is the early competitive surprise
“Good for her” I’ve said a couple of times during the first two episodes of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test this season. And those words have been directed at Savannah Chrisley.
This is because the reality TV star has completed every challenge. She made it across the suspended twin bars in the first episode and this week she submerged herself in freezing water and recited some really confusing acronyms, before rappelling down a cliff (more on that in a second).
And I’m no fan of Chrisley programming. It’s been my cue to flip the channel away from USA for years now.
But Chrisley has been a gamer.
Let’s talk about that rappelling stunt.
Savannah started going down the wall and then she hurls. Like.. A river of vomit pouring out of her mouth and free falling down to the bottom of the dam. And then she talks with the vomit drool still floating back into her face and mouth, before she finally makes it down the wall.
And while people have been talking about her throwing up, no one has mentioned that she was going to lose that challenge anyways. You know why?
Because she was paired up against Bode Miller.
He’s an effing Gold Medalist Alpine Skier. You don’t think this man knows how to get down to the bottom of something faster than another person? It’s how he makes his *bleeping* living.
But yeah, Savannah Chrisley has been crushing it and should be on your radar. It will be interesting to see what showrunners are going to have in store for her next.
